“NEW” CWR AIO Ultra Water Filtration Technology
Dr. Roy Speiser, director of research for CWR Environmental continuously reviews the scientific literature for emerging contaminant issues in the U.S. water supply. Over the past several years, new types of unregulated contaminants have been detected including trace amounts of pharmaceuticals, gasoline additives, hormone disrupters, fertilizer by products, radioactivity and new disease causing microorganisms.
To fulfill CWR Environmental’ s mission of supplying the most advanced water and air filtration equipment to its’ clients, Dr. Speiser has co-developed a new filtration technology to remove these unregulated toxic contaminants - the AIO Ultra Water Filtration system with MetalGon™
The MetalGon™ filter is the most advanced filtration technology for removing chloramine, fluorosilicic acid (fluoride), heavy metals and pharmaceuticals. It utilizes a proprietary material consisting of a calcium-carbon matrix having positive and negative charges that attract metallic ions. It also has a very high absorption surface area to reduce chloramines, pharmaceuticals and chemicals. The MetalGon™ filter media is placed either inside a ceramic filter or as a stand alone filter block. These filters are combined with additional filters to remove parasites, bacteria, sediment and special contaminants such as arsenic or nitrates. The filters can be retrofitted into existing Crown Water Filter Housings.
